Description
[Bayer, Germany] A trademark for a series of quaternary ammonium salt based compounds. Preventol is classified as a detergent. It functions as a fungicide and sterilant by penetrating and disrupting the structure of the cell membranes. Preventol has also been used as a preservative, and corrosion inhibitor.
