[Image Permanence Institute] A standardized test (ISO Standard 14523) developed by IPI to predict potential negative interactions between photographs and their enclosures. The Photographic Activity Test uses a controlled temperature and humidity environment (85% RH and 70C) to incubate a stacked sandwich of samples and degradation detection plates for up to 15 to 40 days.
