Description

A white crystalline solid. Dicyclohexyl amine nitrite is used as a Vapor phase corrosion inhibitor for Silver, Steel, and Aluminum. It forms a thin protective layer on the surface of the metal which minimizes the transmission of moisture and Oxygen. Dicyclohexyl amine nitrite is marketed as VPI 260 by Shell. It is used in antitarnish wrapping papers.
