Description

A composite product made from pulped Paper or textiles, then mixed with Calcium carbonate and Glue or Starch. Papier-mâché was typically decorated to imitate Wood, Stone, or Metal. This inexpensive method was used for interior building decoration such as ornamental statuary. It was also used for arts and craft activities.
