Structural adhesive

Description

Strong, durable adhesives that are used for adhering mechanical and structural parts. Structural adhesives typically exhibit excellent outdoor weathering and can withstand heavy stresses. Examples of these adhesives are:

• Epoxies : high strength, good temperature and solvent resistance
• Polyurethanes : flexible, resistant to shock and fatigue
• Acrylic adhesives : bonds to many surfaces, cures quickly, durable
• Cyanoacrylates : bond quickly, limited temperature and moisture resistance
• Silicone adhesive : flexible, good outdoor weathering, good sealing properties
