[Nielsen & Bainbridge] A registered trademark for a lightweight rigid cotton rag board.  Alpharag® Artcare (TM) Museum board is made using MicroChamber® technology.  The boards are constructed from cotton [[rag|rag]] pulp embedded with [[zeolite|zeolites]] to absorb offgassing products and buffers ([[calcium%20carbonate|calcium carbonate]]) to neutralize harmful acidic vapors.  The rigid, strong, flat panels are water-resistant and dimensionally stable.
