Description
A natural yellow or green dye obtained from the leaves of the lily of the valley plant (Convallaria majalis). Fresh leaves gathered in the summer then shredded give a yellowish green color to wool that is mordanted with chrome. Dried leaves gathered in the fall produce a golden color on wool with a chrome mordant. The color does not dye cotton. It has good fastness on wool.
