Description
A chemical pulp prepared by a low temperature process developed by Dr. Mitscherlich. In this process, wood pulp is digested by the sulfite process, but cooked at low temperatures and pressures for a longer period. This results in fibers that are stronger and more easily bleached. Mitscherlich pulp is used to produce glassine and greaseproof papers.
