Celery stalk

Description

A type of plant tissue contained in the woody tissues, roots, stems, and leaves of all vascular plants. Xylem cells are elongated and have thickened walls. They conduct water and nutrients through the plant. Types of xylem tissues are tracheids, vessels, parenchyma, and fibers.
