Description
A lightweight, translucent fabric with an open texture. Marquisette is made from cotton, rayon, silk, nylon or rayon in a leno or gauze weave. When prepared with a plain weave, it is often called scrim. Marquisette is used for curtains, dresses, mosquito nets and clothing.
