Description

A drying oil obtained from the seed nuts of the Aleurites trisperma tree native to southeast Asia. Lumbang oil has similar properties to tung oil and it is sometimes sold as candlenut oil. Candlenut oil is used to make varnishes, lacquer, and soap as well as for an artists paint that is sometimes called walnut oil and artist's oil.
