Caliper

Description

A calibrated mechanical device used for measuring thicknesses. Calipers have two pivoting legs or movable aperture arms that are adjusted to the external or internal surfaces of the item to be measured. The measurements are usually registered to 0.00001 inches or 0.025 millimeters.
