Description
The ability of a material to withstand compression without failing. A material is considered compressible if it can be pressed with a specific load and still return to its original size and shape after the load is removed. Compressibility is important for gaskets, letterpress paper and any other type of material that is required to withstand heavy weights or hard shocks.
