Description
Yellow needles or powder. Paranitroaniline is used in the colorimetric test for Lignin. The intensity of the color is proportional to the concentration of lignin in the sample.
- Wood pulp - brick red to dark orange color
- Mechanical pulp - orange
- Bleached sulfite pulp - yellow
