Description

[Dow Chemicals] A registered trademark for a nonionic surfactant that is composed of an alkoxylated alcohol. It is recommended by Union Carbide as a substitute for Triton® X-100 by Rohm & Haas. Triton® XL-80N is based on medium chain length (C8-C10) alcohols that has been ethoxylated then propoxylated. Triton® XL-80N dissolves in water and form a stable water based emulsion in VM&P naphtha.
