Description

A calcite marble with large crystals of white, pale pink and dark pink and flecks of black mica, green pyroxene and black tourmaline. Rose Crystal marble is quarried in Warren County, New Jersey (Lent 1925). Once used as a decorative stone, the quarries ceased production by the early 20th century.
