Description
A colorless, noncorrosive, and nonflammable gas used as a solvent and fire suppressant. Dichlorotetrafluoroethane was formerly used as an air conditioner fluid and a refrigerant. Its use was banned in the late 20th century because of damage to atmospheric Ozone.
