Description
A large fir tree, Abies procera or Abies nobilis, native to the mountains of California, Washington and Oregon. Noble fir produces a light reddish brown timber that is hard and strong with a close-grain texture. It is generally used for wood pulp, plywood, millwork, and flooring.
