Description

A collapsible storage container for pre-mixed artist paints. Paint tubes were first sold by suppliers in the 1840's. They were originally made from thin sheets of Tin or Lead. Since WWII, paint tubes have been also been made from Aluminum and Plastic. The paint tubes lengthen the storage life of the paint by minimizing oxidation and solvent evaporation.
