Description
A water-based adhesive paste containing of corn syrup and diethylene glycol that has been used on solvent sensitive book covers such as Pyroxylin coated cloth. One composition (Roberts and Etherington 1982) for the paste is: start with 35% water and add 10% Diethylene glycol, 20% Glucose, 0.1% beta naphthol (preservative), 0.3% Alum and 19.6% Flour.
