Description

A turpentine substitute prepared by hydrogenating pine oil Hydrogenated pine oil has an unpleasant odor and was used during World War II as a substitute for turpentine. It is currently scarce although it can occasionally be found sold under the name of turpentine substitute even though that name is most often used for mineral spirits.
