Description
[AKA Chemie Wishab, Germany] A brand name for a sponge-like dry cleaning pad with blue half-side for handling. AKApad is the new name for a product formerly called Wishab Cleaning Sponges. First developed in 1977, the sponge portion is composed of vulcanized latex. Wishab sponges have been used for dry cleaning many types of surfaces, such as walls, paintings, frescoes, wallpaper, paper, textiles, and rugs.
