Antitarnish paper is used for needle and cutlery papers to minimize rusting and discoloration. Some silver antitarnish papers have hydrogen sulfide scavengers or vapor phase inhibitors to prevent the silver from tarnishing. They are designed to use near, but not in contact, with silver in a closed environment, such as a sealed case.
