Description
A clear, highly refractive, Potash glass that contains up to 33% Lead. Developed in England in 1676, leaded crystal was unequaled in quality for over 100 years. English crystal is heavy, having greater than twice the density of standard borate glass. Crystal glass was used for prisms on chandeliers and for fine tableware.
