Description

Toxic yellow crystals. Sodium ferrocyanide, or yellow prussiate of soda, is used to make Prussian blue pigment and red prussiate of soda. It is also used in the photography, leather tanning, and metal treatments. Sodium ferrocyanide is an effective anti-caking agent and is used in small amount in Table salt and road salt. In the presence of strong sunlight, it can decompose to for Hydrogen cyanide.
