Taiwan cedar Taiwania cryptomerioides

Description

An ornamental evergreen tree native to Taiwan (Calocedrus formosana), and southwest China (Calocedrus macrolepis). The incense cedar tree has soft, decay-resistant wood that was exploited in Asia for building coffins. The trees are now rarely found in the wild.
