Nylon rivets provide as mini-racheting (male and female) action that can secure box or tray corners.  When the rivet is placed in the hole, the smooth, oversized head is pressed, which snaps the rivet in place by expanding its legs and firmly locking the components in place. Nylon rivets provide as mini-racheting (male and female) action that can secure box or tray corners. When the rivet is placed in the hole, the smooth, oversized head is pressed, which snaps the rivet in place by expanding its legs and firmly locking the components in place. It is also used to reinforce glued attachments. The Nylon rivets work well on Coroplast board (Arenstein et al. 2019).
