Description
A synthetic red colorant that is typically used to dye polyester. Thioindigo colorants were first developed in 1905 by Friedlander. It was used in artist paints in 1907. A variety of colora can be acchieved ranging from blue (like indigo) to deep violet and bright redThioindigo is a sulfur dye with good lightfastness and washfastness.
