Description
A thin, stiff, semitransparent fabric. Organdy is a plain woven cloth made from cotton then sized with shellac, gum or a synthetic resin. The sizing gives organdy its crisp, transparent appearance that is launder resistant. Organdy is used for blouses, dresses, trim and curtains.
