Uemera's notes According to a Chinese medical book, called Bencao Gangmu (本草綱目accessible through: http://www.i-apple.jp/honzo/) from the late 16th century AD, the plant could be named as "酸模", "山羊蹄" or "山大黄". The plant for this experiment was collected by Mr. Shoichi Gotoh (後藤捷一).
