Description
A composite plastic that is stronger than the pure resin because it contains a reinforcing material. Examples of reinforcement are fibers, filaments, mats, or fabrics made of Glass, Metal, Carbon, Boron, or Aluminum silicate. The types of plastics used for base resins are: polyester, Epoxy, phenolic, Polypropylene, Polystyrene, nylon, Polycarbonate, and Polyphenylene oxide.
