Description
A substance that resists adhesion to itself or any other material. Surfaces may be coated with an abherent to prevent sticking. Examples are mold release agents, Teflon®, silicone, dusting powders (talc, mica, etc.) as well as some soaps, oils, waxes, and fluorocarbon sprays.
