Description
[Beckers Farg, Stockholm, Sweden] A brand name for a commercial fill material. Latex Spackel is a mixture of a polyvinyl acetate and calcium carbonate. It dries to a hard white fill with little shrinkage but may evolve trace amounts of acetic acid as it cures. Latex Spackel can be overpainted with water-based or alkyd paints after drying for 1-3 hours (depending on fill thickness).
