Description
A natural or synthetic fabric used as a geotextile to mechanically aid in the optimization of water drainage systems. A drainage fabric, such as burlap, is used to restrict movement of dirt and stones while permitting water to pass. It may be installed around a drain pipe to prevent soil from entering the system or it may be installed on a slope to minimize erosion.
