Description
A process dedicated to transform classical photographs (analogic ones) in digitised images. This is done using a scanner, generally based on a light array detector, coupled with an acquisition system and a computer. The parameters are the definition in pixels by unit surface (for instance 1000 x 1000 pixels / cm2) and the coding precision (for instance 8 bits, 12 bits, 24 bits...).
