Description
A thixotropic paint formulation that has a gel consistency when undisturbed, but flows readily when brushed or stirred. Once placed on the wall, the paint again becomes stiff without running or dripping. Gel paint is prepared by adding a small amount of a polyamide resin to an alkyd resin paint or by adding hydroxypropyl cellulose to a latex paint.
