Description

[Franklin International, OH] A brand name for a hide glue solution. First sold in 1935, Liquid Hide Glue became the first ready-to-use adhesive on the market. In order the keep the glue from solidifying, Liquid Hide Glue is treated with acetic, nitric or hydrochloric acids. This decreases the viscosity but does not alter the adhesion of the dried film.
