Description
A coarse grain, buff-colored granite with gray and black markings. Named for a nearby river, Oconee granite is quarried in Green County Georgia. Examples of buildings constructed with Oconee granite include the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the Department of Treasury in Washington DC, and Chanel Headquarters in New York.
