Description
Any of several trees that have been used for the production of paper.
- Paper mulberry - Broussonetia papyrifera, Daphne cannabina, Edgeworthia cardneri, Trophis aspers. All are native to Asia.
- Paperbark tree - Melaleuca leucadendron and Callisternon species native to Australia.
- Paper birch, or canoe birch - Betula papyracea, native to North America.
- Paper beech - Betula alba and Betula bhojputtra
- Paper poplar - Poplar grandidentata native to North America.
