Description
An accurate instrument used for measuring relative humidity. The liquid crystal hygrometer contains several chemical salts that respond to different humidity levels by rearranging their crystal structure (Shelley 1987). This molecular movement is visible through a sheet of polarizing plastic. It never requires calibration.
