Description
A thermoplastic resin that is similar to polyethylene terephthalate. Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resins have high strength, good dimensional stability and resistance to moisture, heat and chemicals. PBT has been prepared as a fiber and in sheets as an impact-resistant glass substitute. It is also used in sporting goods, toys, household products and electrical component housings.
