Anorthite

Description

It is found in many igneous rocks such as Gabbro and Granite. Major deposits occur in Italy (Trentino, the lavas of Vesuvius, and Monte Somma), Finland, Sweden (Södermanland), India (Tamil Nadu), Japan (Miyake), and the United States (New Jersey).
