Description
The ability of a material to resist chemical changes due to degradative environmental effects, such as moisture and pollution. Some materials that can be used to minimize Corrosion include:
- Vapor phase corrosion inhibitor: provides a corrosion resistant layer on the surface
- Scavenger: removes pollutants and/or moisture and oxygen from the airs
- Desiccant: removes moisture from the air
