Wire glass

Description
A protective window glass prepared in the late 19th and early 20th century. Wired glass windows are sheet glass that has a nickel-steel wire mesh rolled into the molten glass. The wire mesh reduces shattering and breaking of the glass. It was often used in skylight and door panes.
