Description

1) A natural hard crust formed on soil or other surfaces due to the evaporation and subsequent deposition of gypsum. Gypcrete deposits can be as thick as 4m (12 feet). The massive crystalline crusts most often form in arid or semi-arid environments. They are also found around hot springs and lake edges.

2) A brand name for a sound absorbing construction board.
