Description

A nondrying oil expressed from the tiny seeds of the radish plant (Raphanus sativus) that grows wild in Asia and Europe. Radish seeds are low in oil. The oil contains erucic acid (35%), oleic acid (22%), linoleic acid (11%), arachidic acid (10%), linolenic acid (9%), palmitic acid (6%), and stearic acid (2%) (Serpico and White 2000). It was used for cooking and annointing.
