Linear Diodes Arrays (LDAs) are used as detectors for scanning radiography, like the equipment used in airports for baggage inspection, or for online nondestructive control of objects on manufactiring production lines, where they are used to generate static digital radiographs. This technique has very few use in the cultural heritage field.
