Varaform

Description

[Runlite SA, Belgium] A brand name for a cotton gauze impregnated with a Thermoplastic polyester (polycaprolactone) resin. Formerly called Hexcelite and X-Lite, Varaform was originally developed for setting broken bones. Available in three thicknesses, the material is lightweight and rigid at room temperature but easily formable when softened with a hair dryer or hot water. The reusable material can be cut with scissors and it adhers to itself.
