Composite white

Description
The name for a white pigment composed of nearly equal proportions of white titanium white and white zinc white. Composite white has been used since the 1920s as a house paint. The mixture of the two pigments is more durable than either used alone. Brand names used for paints containing composite white include Permalba, Superba white, Permanent white, and Ultra white (Mayer 1969).
