Maleic resin

Description

A resin polyester resin that is used as a lacquer coating, usually in mixtures with nitrate cellulose nitrate resins. Maleic resin is made from the combination of rosin or other resin natural resins with anhydride maleic anhydride in a glycerol solution. They dry quickly to form nonyellowing films.
